Hope Calls

It’s what you’ve got, it’s whats got you, it’s your friend in those intimate moments that you share with no one else. It’s your guide. Your shield of armour. I know it feels like we’ve lost it somewhere along the way. But I know. Hope my dear friend you’re still here. When all else feels lost, when all else is telling you what you don’t believe to be true. When your heart sinks ever so deeper as it tries to free itself from its oppressive chain. Hope has seen me through so many battles. None of which required me to put my fists up and prepare for a blood bath. Hope saw my tears and it told me. “That it’s going to be ok, just not today, so for now I need you to stand, I need you to walk now, I need you to run” hope is the eternal strength founded even in a creed that will usher you past all that holds you down. Past all the chains that don’t serve your life anymore and probably never did. Hope is what we use when all else has failed. Embrace hope and the blessing it brings. Embrace hope and return your smile and be hopeful for a brighter day where you will do things differently, where you’ll walk with purpose or even walk out of what chains you. We can do this, we need to be tough and hopeful.
