Be Brave
Have you ever thought you looked a certain way? that you projected a certain image? only to have the mirror reflect something else that you simply did not expect. In the very same breathe I would like to pose a question. What does your current life reflect? Does it reflect someone else’s choices or yours? Does it reflect someone else’s ambitions or yours? Does it reflect someone else’s thinking or yours? It can be so daunting to live our own lives sometimes because of the feedback we may or may not receive from others, depending on what you are looking for but I would like to propose this. You need to be brave enough to see our own story through. Not just when obstacles come your way or when you have an immediate goal. You need to be brave enough to be you at all times. To be brave enough to set your own pace, brave enough to see your own story through. It’s been said that the world owes you nothing fully agreed, but you owe yourself the opportunity to shine as bright as you can. Because we fall in the habit that when it starts becoming rough being ourselves, that we potentially think that it will be easier being someone else forgetting that that image of success we see in others has also been moulded by fire. Love and honour who you are, and everything else will make sense, not because everything is clear at any given point but because you know that you are worth the effort. I must be honest I didn’t always but I love the person that I am now, I love all the experiences that I have had, all the experiences that have shaped me because at the end of the day they’ve made me who I am and good or bad, it’s all relative but for it’s all feedback because I’d like to think I’m moving forward with my life understanding that I am the only one; and I need not be anyone else, because I choose to reflect me. So I ask, what do you want your life to reflect?
