Time for Change

In order for there to be peace. There must be someone willing to teach it. In order for there to be love, there must be someone with the courage to display it. In order for there to hope, there must be someone willing to speak it into existence. I dream and wait in enthusiastic anticipation for a world where man can truly flourish and promote what truly matters and that is, unity in love. This is not the cry of one who might be perceived as naive but the plea of someone who has seen the capacity of the human heart to love and to overcome. The anthem of one who has seen differently in hope experienced differently in love and overcome through faith. I have seen the life of a poor man changed through the meaningful intervention of another with means. I have seen those without nothing come to greatness through the power of their action, driven by hope. I have seen the broken hearted restored through the love and care of another. The greatest of all of these is the ability to love not only ourselves but our fellow man. This change begins with me because I realise, that in order for there to be peace.
